5-Inch FPV Drone Build
Engineering Project | 2026
This project involved building, configuring, and testing a 5-inch FPV drone system. The work included electrical assembly, soldering, flight controller setup, radio receiver configuration, video system integration, battery setup, antenna mounting, troubleshooting, and safety testing. The goal was to create a reliable FPV drone while gaining hands-on experience with real-world electronics, embedded systems, and mechanical integration.
Motor Speed Controller
Engineering Project | 2025
Designed and implemented an electronic controller for a brushed DC motor. The controller maintains an approximately constant motor speed, accepts a user speed command as an analog voltage, and is designed to function under load.
Designed a brushed DC motor speed controller; used analog voltage as a speed command input; focused on maintaining consistent speed under load; applied circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
Password Authenticator
Digital Logic Systems Course Project | 2023
Designed a password lock system on a DE-10 board using Verilog. The project involved digital logic design, hardware description language, and collaboration with a student team.
Built a password lock using Verilog code; implemented the design on a DE-10 development board; collaborated with classmates from different backgrounds; helped plan and assign project subtasks; applied hardware description language concepts to electronic board design.
Experience
Team, work, and volunteer experience with responsibility and communication.
University of Manitoba Society of Automotive Engineers
Team Member | 2024–2026
Participated as a team member with UMSAE, contributing to project discussions, problem solving, and safety-related testing. Attended meetings, collaborated on technical problems, and performed safety testing on the accumulator.
City of Winnipeg
Instructor Guard | 2019–2020
Taught children aged 2 to 18 the fundamentals of swimming, supervised pool safety, and worked independently and with coworkers in a professional environment.
École Waterford Springs School
Volunteer | 2020–2024
Supported classroom organization and technology setup by setting up classroom technology and organizing and labeling classroom supplies.
